Investment choice
You can obtain the right to residence in Andorra in various ways. We specialize in two of the possibilities: through business and investment.
We perform almost all necessary actions on behalf of the client, with the inevitable exception of the client’s personal visit to the immigration department and medical examination.
If you wish to keep your flexibility and you don’t want to commit to residing in the Principality for more than three months a year then the option of obtaining residency through investment is for you.
The residence investment options include:
- Buying a property in Andorra.
- Placing funds in a deposit account at a local bank.
- Purchase of bonds issued by local issuers and approved for immigration purposes.
Your Bank will be able to offer you various options, taking into account your goals.
It can be a mix of 2 or more types of investments, it is, however, important that they amount to a minimum of €350,000.
You can decide on the choice of such an investment within 6 months after you receive your residence permit.
In addition to such an investment, the resident must deposit €50,000 with a local financial institution.
Both parts of the investment must be maintained throughout the entire period of residence, however, they are fully refundable in the event of residence termination.
At the time of filing the migration dossier, the applicant should already have an address on the territory of the Principality.
Opening a bank account
The choice of a bank will be determined by your financial profile.
The financial profile is based not only on the amount of available funds that can be placed on the account but also preferences for the creation of an investment portfolio, sources of funds, as well as, many other factors that need to be considered before applying to the bank.
Good preparation will significantly reduce the time and the volume of documents to be provided for verification. We will be happy to help you find the shortest path.
Documents
All documents supporting your residence application must have their authenticity confirmed with apostilles and must be translated into Spanish, Catalan, or French (some originals in English are also accepted).
All documents are considered valid for 3 months from issue date. Due to the chronic congestion of the local migration service, we recommend that you book your appointment at least one month in advance of your planned visit.
Required documents include
- Passport copies.
- Civil status certificate.
- Certificate of no criminal record from the country/ies of origin and residence.
- Tax declaration for the previous year, from the country of residence.
- Signed oath to keep residence in Andorra for at least 90 days of a year.
